MNS chief Raj Thackeray has urged the people of Maharashtra to vote for Maharashtra Navnirman Sena to make the state prosperous. Addressing election rallies in Thane and Kalyan, Thackeray criticized political instability in the state and said a complete change was needed. He asked people to prioritize the welfare of Maharashtra instead of getting entangled in political and personal differences. He said: ‘Vote for MNS for real development.’

Raj Thackeray stated that within 48 hours of coming to power, his party will resolve the issue of loudspeakers in mosques. He said religious practices should not cause problems to others. The MNS chief said religion should be limited to homes. Public roads are not for praying.
