According to information received, this accident occurred on NH-74 at Dhampur police station in Bijnor when a family was returning from Bihar after getting married on Saturday morning. These people took the tempo from Moradabad station and then returned home. Meanwhile, while they were trying to overtake, the driver of the Creta car lost control and hit the tempo hard from behind, due to which the tempos flew into pieces and both of them. The vehicles fell into a ditch on the side of the road.
According to sources, all the people traveling in the car were returning to their village Tibri after getting married in Jharkhand. Among the deceased were Khurshid (65), his son Vishal (25), daughter-in-law Khushi (22), Mumtaz (45), Ruby (32) and Bushra (10). In addition, a car driver also died.
