Karnal News (Aaj Samaj) Karnal: Dense fog has been wreaking havoc in the state for the past few days. Every day many people lose their lives in traffic accidents. Due to fog, a terrible accident occurred on Munak Gagsina Road today. Where a car crushed three people who were riding bicycles. Three people died at the scene of the accident. A young man was seriously injured.
Who has been admitted to Kalpana Chawla Medical College for treatment. Police reached the spot after receiving information and sent the bodies of the deceased for autopsy. The deceased have been identified as Ranjit Singh, 42, a resident of Anand Vihar, and Kumod, 33, a resident of Ramnagar, while the injured have been identified as Bhola, 28. Bhola lived below Kaithal Pool in Shiv Colony, Karnal. All three are originally residents of Samastipur district in Bihar. Ranjit Singh used to work laying tiles and stones.

According to information received, Ranjeet was heading from Karnal towards Munak on Saturday morning with Kumod and Bhola on the bike. As soon as he reached the Gagsina-Munak highway, an unknown vehicle crashed into his bicycle. Ranjeet and Kumod died in the accident. While Bhola was injured. Police said further action will be taken based on statements from family members.
