After the fire in the children’s ward of the Jhansi District Medical College in Uttar Pradesh, the district administration officials conducted a surprise inspection of the Banda district hospital and checked the fire safety equipment. During this time, no fire safety equipment was found in the same Banda neighborhood where the incident occurred in Jhansi. Given this, the ADM ordered CMS to immediately install fire safety equipment.
Let us tell you that a fire was reported in the children’s ward of Jhansi Medical College on Friday night. In which many children died tragically. In such a situation, the government has directed the DM and SP of all districts to inspect the hospitals. In this sequence, on Saturday, ADM Rajesh Kumar, ASP Shivraj along with administration officials reached Banda District Hospital.

Instructions given for installing fire safety equipment.
During this, the fire safety equipment was inspected. However, some fire safety equipment was found empty or leaking at the regional hospital. Apart from this, no equipment was found installed in the same Banda ward, the children’s ward where the incident took place at Jhansi Medical College. This has also been confirmed by the patient’s relatives and ADM. The ADM, expressing displeasure, has directed the hospital administration to immediately install fire safety equipment.

ADM Rajesh Kumar said that on the instructions of the DM, today the additional SP along with fire tenders reached the district hospital to inspect the fire safety equipment. Fire safety equipment has been installed in some places and some is being installed. Orders have been given to immediately recharge non-functioning equipment.
