On the 77th birthday of comic poet Hasla Haryanvi, Haryana Kala Parishad Kurukshetra and Shri Ram Manav Vikas Shiksha Samiti organized a comic poets’ conference at the Sand Piper resort. In which Bawal MLA Dr Krishna Kumar participated as chief guest while social worker Ramkishan Sain and bank manager Devidayal participated as special guests.

Committee general secretary Harsh Saini welcomed all the guests and poets. On this occasion, Chief Guest MLA Dr. Krishna Kumar congratulated Haskal Haryanvi on her birthday and appreciated her literary contribution. He also said that such humorous poets’ conferences should be held periodically because they relieve people’s mental tension.

In the four-hour long show directed by comedian Alok Bhandoria, comedian Hasla Haryanvi shed light on the current situation through his ghazal ‘Aadmi aaj aaj dogle ho gaye spit kar chaat le woh bhale ho gaye’. Lyricist Shiv Shailendra Yadav, who came from Madhya Pradesh, greeted the patriots with ‘Aata hai scene yaad woh Jallian Bagh ka, Ish lahu hai friends lakhon suhaag ka’.

Comedian Deepak Saini, who came from Delhi, made the audience laugh a lot with his humorous poems and his imitation of many leaders. Jhajjar comic poet Master Mahendra made the audience laugh with his Haryanvi comic poems. Poem by Kishan Khandelwal, a poet who came from Bhubaneswar: My wife is very sweet because she is an Indian woman, very rooted.

Rajni Singh Avni won applause with her song and muktak. Poet Gautam Allahabadi’s book, Samay To Beeta Jaay, was published in the programme. On this occasion Cap.
