Muzaffarnagar: Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav’s election rally, which was to be held in Kakroli village of Mirapur assembly constituency, was canceled on Saturday. SP district president Jiya Chaudhary has provided this information. He said the rally was canceled as Akhilesh Yadav’s helicopter did not get permission to take off from Hindon airport. For this reason, the former Chief Minister could not attend the program organized in support of his candidate for the by-elections.
He will do a road show on November 18.
SP leaders said hundreds of supporters who had gathered to hear Akhilesh Yadav’s speech were disappointed. Following the cancellation of the rally, the Samajwadi Party announced that Akhilesh Yadav will participate in the roadshow to be held on November 18 in Meerapur assembly constituency.
The SP deputy addressed the demonstration
Speaking from the stage, Samajwadi Party’s Muzaffarnagar MP Harendra Malik made an emotional appeal to the public asking for votes for SP candidate Sumbul Rana. He said that the election on the 20th is Asmat’s election. SP candidate Sumbul has arrived among you. Give a wish to this daughter. Give him blessings with all your heart and work for him to win the elections. He pedals so much that the cycle does not stop before Lucknow.
