The Champions Trophy arrived in Pakistan: The Champions Trophy will be held in Pakistan next year. Under this, the trophy of this International Cricket Council (ICC) tournament arrived in Islamabad, Pakistan on November 14. Later, the Pakistani government had also announced the rotation of this trophy in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). But following objection from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the ICC canceled it.
With this, ICC has released a new Trophy Tour schedule, according to which the trophy will no longer be able to go to PoK. As per the schedule, this trophy will also arrive in India for a 12-day tour. Apart from these, this trophy will also travel to other countries.
The trophy will not go to any PoK city
In fact, the Government of Pakistan had prepared a plan for this trophy to be taken across Pakistan between November 16 and 24. They will also take you to K2, the second highest peak in the world.
Furthermore, it was also decided to take the trophy to three cities of PoK including Muzaffarabad. But after the BCCI’s objection, the ICC has taken cognizance of it.
