When police teams from Hyderabad and Odisha raided a village in Balasore district on Saturday, even the officials were shocked. Here a huge amount of cash was recovered from a heap of cow dung. An official gave this information on Saturday.
He said this recovery was carried out at Badamandaruni village within the limits of Kamrada police station. In fact, a team of police officers from Hyderabad and Odisha reached the village and raided the house of accused Gopal Behera’s in-laws.
The accused had stolen money from the company.
Gopal Behera, who is currently absconding, worked in an agricultural company in Hyderabad and had allegedly stolen over Rs 20 lakh from the company’s locker. Apparently, Gopal had sent the money to the village through his brother-in-law Ravindra Behera.

The police swung into action after receiving a complaint against Gopal. Acting on the complaint, a team of Hyderabad police along with Kamrada police raided Ravindra’s house and recovered a huge amount of cash hidden in a pile of cow dung.
Both accused fled
Kamarda police station IIC Premada Nayak said that both Gopal and his brother-in-law Ravindra are absconding. The officer told PTI that a member of his family has been detained in the village and the matter is being investigated.
