Meanwhile, Grape-4 restrictions are expected to be implemented in the capital soon.

Ban on BS-3 petrol and BS-4 diesel vehicles

The Delhi government has banned BS-3 petrol and BS-4 diesel four-wheelers from Friday in the national capital under the Graded Response Action Plan. According to the government order, it is necessary to combat the deterioration of air quality. Violators will be prosecuted under section 194(1) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and fined Rs 20,000. Let us tell you that in Delhi, two lakh BS-3 petrol vehicles and more than 3 lakh diesel vehicles are registered under BS-4.

According to the report At 7 a.m. on Friday, visibility was 500 meters in the Palam area and 400 meters in Safdarjung.
