Farmers frustrated by central government indifference

The farmers’ organization claims that despite living in adverse conditions, the central government does not pay attention to them. Today, the country’s food supplier faces problems from all sides, while governments limit themselves to voting only on politics.

Speaking to reporters, SKM leader (apolitical) Jagjit Singh Dallewal alleged that the central government is completely indifferent to the demands of farmers, which is why farmers across the country are suffering the consequences. He said the central government held talks with the farmers several times but no concrete steps were taken to meet their demands. Dallewal said he will begin a fast unto death at the Khanauri border from November 26. The farmer leader said the Center has not held talks with the protesting farmers on their demands since February 18.
