There is good news for candidates who want to work in Railways. Eastern Railway has invited applications for Group C and D posts, for which online applications have been invited. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official websites of RRC/ER rrcer.org and rrcrecruit.co.in. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 60 posts will be filled in Eastern Railway. The registration process for this started on November 15, 2024 and the last date of application has been fixed as December 14, 2024. This recruitment will be done under sports quota.

- Group ‘C’, Level 4/Level 5: 5 places
- Group ‘C’ Level-2/Level-3: 16 publications
- Group ‘D’ Level-1 (7th CPC): 39 seats
Eastern Railway Vacancy 2024: Educational Qualification
Level 4 or Level 5: Passing graduation or equivalent examination in any subject from a government-recognized university/institute.
Level-2 or Level-3: Passed exam 12 or its equivalent. Educational qualification must be from a Government recognized Board/Council/Institutions etc. or must have passed Matriculation from a recognized Board and must have completed the Law Apprenticeship course or must have passed 10th class from a Board /Council/Institutions, etc., recognized by the Government.

The selection process for these posts will be based on 100 points, which includes evaluation of recognized sporting achievements, playing skills, physical fitness and educational qualification, etc., based on the 50-point criteria.
Railway Recruitment 2024: What is the application fee?
The application fee for all candidates is Rs 500, while for candidates from SC, ST, women, minorities and economically backward classes the fee is Rs 250. The fee will be paid online via internet banking or debit or credit card.
