This unique business by Pradeepbhai Parmar, a pastor from Rabhada village, is an inspiring and innovative initiative. Its model of renting Nandis and cows gives a new dimension to traditional livestock farming. Come try this unique business

Pradeepbhai has 35 Gir cows and 2 Nandis. The Gir breed is known for its high quality of milk and fertility. His most special Nandi is Kohinoor, which he bought for Rs 4 lakh.

Kohinoor’s four-month rent is Rs 8.51 lakh, making it a major source of income. He receives 20 kg of forage daily, of which 13 kg of green forage and 7 kg of dry forage.

Apart from this, 6-7 kg of ghee and 1 liter of pure groundnut oil are given.
Around ₹2,500 is spent daily on their care.

Kohinoor is a descendant of the famous Gopal Nandi. Their identity is different among the Nandis of the Gir race due to their black color and physical characteristics. He helps in raising cows and his lineage makes him special in the region.

Cow and buffalo farming is common, but this rental model is a new source of income. This not only makes animal farming sustainable but also makes it profitable.

Thanks to Kohinoor Nandi, three cows have given birth to calves. This is improving the quality and genetics of the Gir breed.
