An innocent child was also among the dead, an accident caused by fog
Punjab Accident News (Aaj Samaj), Hoshiarpur: These days there is a lot of fog in the state. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert in this regard. In reality, it is the combination of fog and smoke that is causing big problems for people. Due to smog, there are reports of accidents in many places in the state.
A similar case came to light near Jagjitpur village on the Phagwara-Hoshiapur highway, where a minibus and a cycle rickshaw collided head-on. Three people from the same family died in this accident. A child is also included among the dead. While two people, including a one and a half year old girl, were injured. As soon as information about the accident was received, Rawalpindi Police Station SHO Kirpal Singh reached the spot along with the police party and admitted the injured to the civil hospital.

Rampal, a resident of Virk village, said his relatives, residents of Balveer Colony, Hoshiarpur, along with other members of the Garibdas family had come on the bicycle gifted to them. He said that when these people were returning to Hoshiarpur in the morning, their bike collided with a minibus of a hawker near Jagjitpur village. Garibdas, his mother-in-law Phoolwati and three-year-old son Manpreet died in the accident. While injured were Rajni’s wife Garibdas and one-and-a-half-year-old daughter Gurpreet, who were admitted to the local civil hospital for treatment.
A young man from Kapurthala is crushed to death by a tractor in Italy
On the other hand, a young man from the state died after being crushed by a tractor in Italy. The youth was a resident of Sultanpur Lodhi of Kapurthala. This accident occurred when he was leveling the ground in the fields by installing a rotary machine behind the tractor. There has been a wave of mourning in the town of Tashpur due to this accident.
