A dangerous accused has been arrested from Gorakhpur’s Jhangha. This accused used to rob the women of the town at night, hitting them with sticks or irons and leaving them half dead. In the last four months, he had made a total of 5 women victims. For fear of the accused, the women were forced to confine themselves to their homes.
It is used to target these types of houses.
For the last few months, the police have been receiving different complaints of theft in the Jhangha police station area of Gorakhpur. According to information, a madman named Ajay Nishad used to make village women his victims. According to the complaint received by the police, in the last four months a total of 5 different reports of theft were received throughout the area. The pattern of all the robberies at this location was the same.

According to the police, Ajay Nishad has already spent six months in prison for crimes against women. He is currently free on bail. Ajay often went out in search of his prey in the dead of night and chose houses in the village that did not have any adjacent houses.
After reconnoitring those houses, he used to enter them and make the women he met there into his victims. Late at night, when he found women sleeping, he took advantage of them by attacking them with sticks or rods and seriously injuring them. After this, he used to flee the place with gold and silver jewellery. So far he had made a total of five women his victims. Whose complaint was received by the police.
He has gone to jail for rape
Ajay Nishad was released on bail in 2022 after serving six months of his sentence. However, after this he went to Surat but reached the village in 2024 and started committing crimes. Where a woman has also died due to the crime committed by him. At the same time, one woman had her eye gouged out and another was seriously injured.
This issue, which has become a challenge for the police, was much discussed. The female victims said that a young man between 20 and 25 years old committed the crime at night dressed in a black shirt. However, he was not wearing slippers. Following the women’s complaint, the Gorakhpur police laid a trap and arrested the accused.
