Ashok Poddar, former deputy block director, injured in hospital
In Khagaria district of Bihar, miscreants shot dead former deputy chief of Mansi block Ashok Poddar and his son. So the son died instantly. While former deputy chief Ashok Poddar was injured. Ashok Poddar was shifted to Sadar Hospital for treatment in critical condition. Where after first aid, the doctor referred him to a higher center for better treatment.
According to information, the miscreants committed this incident in Rajajan village located in Mansi police station area of the district. It is suspected that this incident took place due to an old rivalry. Police have reached the spot and are investigating the matter. An injured Ashok Poddar told the media that Arjun Yadav, his neighbor and husband of the former West Thatha Panchayat chief, had shot him and his son.
