Meanwhile, taking serious note of the Congress and JMM’s complaints against the “misleading and malicious” video posted by the BJP’s Jharkhand unit on the social media platform, the Election Commission on Sunday asked its Jharkhand returning officer to remove the requested post. instructions.
The Commission has also sought an explanation from the state BJP for allegedly violating the provisions of the Model Code of Conduct by releasing the video. The Commission has directed the Chief Electoral Officer of Jharkhand to take immediate action in the matter and remove the objectionable post from the social media platform at the earliest.
