Azad Samaj Party national president and Nagina MP Chandrashekhar Azad arrived in Rampur on Sunday to meet the family of former SP MLA Azam Khan, where he was received by the former minister’s elder son Adeeb.
Earlier on Monday, he had met Abdullah Azam at Hardoi Jail, after which he reached Azam Khan’s house. Where Adeeb welcomed him and discussed. It is believed that after meeting Abdullah in jail, he reached the SP leader’s house with some message from Abdullah. After meeting Adeeb, Chandrashekhar also met Azam Khan’s wife Tajeen Fatima.
After meeting Abdullah in Hardoi jail, Chandrashekhar told the media that if the government hatched any conspiracy against him, he would not remain silent and when the power increases, all these false cases will be investigated. The officials and employees who helped in this will be taken care of.
He also said that I thought he would be angry if he was in jail, but after meeting him, I knew that he is a brave man, who is fighting his battle, the circumstances are not hidden from anyone. I have also read his case, read the orders, how he was punished.
Before Chandrashekhar, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav had also reached Azam Khan’s house, during which Moradabad MP Ruchi Veera and Rampur MP were also present with him. In fact, Akhilesh had recently arrived at Kundarki constituency in Moradabad to campaign. After which he reached Azam Khan’s house.
