Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday said that school education is fruitful only when it is used for the society. He said that if someone does not know how to use education, then it will not bring them any particular benefit. There are many examples of great people who showed important direction for society despite not receiving an education in school.
Addressing a gathering of Sangh workers after inaugurating the Shersingh Karki Saraswati Vihar building in Muwani, Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, Bhagwat emphasized that the objective of education received in schools and colleges should be to utilize it for the betterment of the society.
Call to promote the Vidya Bharti model
He said that every individual should promote the Vidya Bharati model of education, which provides education not only for the betterment of himself or his family, but also for the betterment of the entire society. Only values strengthen society and society is supreme.
‘Governments can provide employment to only 10 percent of young people’
The Sangh chief further said that any government in the world can provide only 10 per cent jobs to the youth, while the rest of the jobs or businesses of the people are created by the strength of the society. Our state has been prosperous in the past and will continue to be prosperous in the future also thanks to the strength of the society. It is society that teaches us how to live a life of purpose.
The people around obtain the fruits of the penance of the wise.
The RSS chief further said that Uttarakhand is a holy land. Where thousands of wise men continue to do penance throughout the year, but the fruits of their penance always illuminate other people who live around them. The Sangh chief is touring the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand and reached Pithoragarh from Champawat on Saturday night.
