Zelio X-Men 2.0 electric scooter: Electric two-wheeler manufacturer ZELIO Ebikes has today officially launched its new low-speed electric scooter X-MEN 2.0 in the domestic market. This is an upgraded version of the company’s famous electric scooter from the X-Men series. Some new features and technology have been used that make it better than the previous model. Equipped with an attractive look and a powerful battery, the starting price of this scooter has been set at Rs 71,500 (ex-showroom).
The company says that this scooter has been designed in such a way that it is capable of meeting the daily needs of common people. The company has designed this scooter keeping students, office commuters or urban commuters in mind. The company has introduced this scooter in four different variants with lead-acid and lithium-ion battery packs, the prices of which are also different.

What is this electric scooter like:
The appearance and design of X-MEN 2.0 is very similar to the previous model. But the company has made some cosmetic changes. As a low speed electric scooter, it has a 60/72V capacity BLDC electric motor. The company claims that this scooter offers a maximum range of 100 km on a single charge and its maximum speed is 25 km/hour.
Full charge for Rs 7.50:
ZELIO claims that a maximum of 1.5 units of electricity is consumed to fully charge the battery of this electric scooter. If you use this scooter in Delhi, the charge for 0-200 units of electricity is approximately Rs 3 to Rs 4.16 per unit. Even if you consider an average of Rs 5 per unit, then for 1.5 units of electricity you will have to spend a maximum of Rs 7.5. This means that for just Rs 7.50 you can avail a range of approximately 100 km.
Charging time and payload:
The 90kg electric scooter is capable of carrying a maximum load (payload) of up to 180kg. This means that two people can easily ride in it. Additionally, it came with two different battery packs: the lithium battery takes 4 to 5 hours to fully charge and the lead-acid battery takes 8 to 10 hours to fully charge.

The company has included some special features in X-MEN 2.0. In addition to disc brakes at the front and rear, it also has alloy wheels at the front. The rear wheel is connected to the hub motor. Telescopic fork is available at the front and spring damper suspension is available at the rear. Apart from this, features like anti-theft alarm, parking switch, reverse gear, USB phone charging port, digital display, self-repair switch and central locking make this scooter better. The company offers a warranty of up to 10,000 km for this scooter.
