Two people were killed and nine others wounded on Sunday in two separate shootings in the US city of New Orleans. After which the police are investigating the matter. According to information provided by the New Orleans Police Department, officers responded to a report of shots fired on an avenue in the St. Roch neighborhood shortly after 3:30 p.m. and found eight injured victims. All eight were admitted to the hospital.
About 45 minutes later, police received another report of shots fired about a kilometer north on the same avenue. According to police, one person died at the scene during the shooting and the other died at the hospital. The third victim was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle and is in stable condition, police said. Authorities said the shooting occurred in an area where a celebration was taking place, followed by a parade.
