No relief for pollution, AQI reaches dangerous levels
Delhi Pollution News (Aaj Samaj), New Delhi: Since there is no improvement in air quality in the capital Delhi, the Delhi government has ordered to implement the Grape-4 rules from today, i.e. Monday. It is worth noting that in Delhi the Group 3 norms have been in force for a few days, but despite everything, the air quality is continually deteriorating. An AQI 440 was recorded in Delhi on Sunday. After which it was decided to implement Grap-4.
These rules will be applicable from today.
Due to this, many construction works in the capital will stop from today. Classes 6 to 11 will be held online. Classes 10 and 12 will continue as before. Along with this, there is a restriction on the circulation of heavy vehicles. However, trucks carrying essential goods will be allowed to enter. On the other hand, instructions have been given for 50 percent of employees in government and private offices to work from home. LNG, CNG and electric trucks will be allowed.
The Minister of the Environment demands artificial rain
In view of the rising level of pollution in Delhi, Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai has already demanded the central government to provide artificial rain. However, given the doubts about the effectiveness of this artificial rain in reducing pollution, the Central Government has not taken any decision in this regard. On the other hand, due to a thick layer of pollution settling in Delhi’s atmosphere, the capital has turned into a gas chamber. Due to which people face difficulty in breathing.
Congress and BJP targeted you
On the other hand, the Congress has targeted the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP and termed them as failures in the fight against pollution. While the BJP has blamed the pollution on the Delhi government. Congress leader Devendra Yadav said the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP are fighting among themselves while the people of Delhi are forced to breathe poisonous air. Both parties don’t care at all about people’s health.
