Chandigarh News (Aaj Samaj) Chandigarh: Today is the last day of the winter session of the Haryana Assembly. Previously, the assembly held on November 13 and 14 was quite noisy. During the discussion on the Governor’s speech, deputies from the ruling party and the opposition fiercely attacked each other. Many important bills were also passed during the House deliberations. Even today the House must pass some important bills. The most important bill is the Indian Civil Defense Code (Haryana Amendment) Bill, 2024.
This bill will increase the power to impose fines in criminal cases in trial courts established in 22 districts of the state and about three dozen subdivisions of the state by a factor of 10. Apart from this, Chief Minister Nayab Saini will introduce four more bills in the House. It is the first time that the work of the Chamber is carried out without the leader of the opposition. The Congress has not yet been able to select the opposition leader.
House proceedings continue without opposition leader
Due to which, for the first time in the history of Haryana Assembly, Assembly debates are being held without the Leader of Opposition. During the House proceedings, BJP MLAs criticized the Congress for not yet selecting the opposition leader. There was a heated exchange of words between Chief Minister Nayab Saini and former CM Hooda over this issue. Now, even after today’s process begins, there are chances of an uproar in Vis.
