A shocking case has come to light in Dausa district of Rajasthan. In Ladpura village, near Lalsot district police station, the dispute over bursting of firecrackers during a wedding ceremony escalated so much that a wedding procession crushed nine people with their car, of whom one died. Seven people were seriously injured, two of whom are in critical condition. The people crushed by the car were immediately taken to the hospital.
The bride’s brother had asked for a favor
Giving information about the incident, local MP Ram Vilas Meena said that there was a girls’ wedding in Ladpura village and he had also gone to attend the function. A wedding procession was approaching and there was a dispute over bursting of firecrackers on the way. During this time, the bride’s brother asked a favor from a boyfriend who was bursting cookies, but a fight broke out between the two. After a fight, the bride’s brother took the catering staff with him and beat the wedding guests.
After this, the angry boyfriend crushed them with his white Hyundai i20 car to take revenge. In this accident, 9 people were injured, of which one died and two are in critical condition. The injured were admitted to the local Lalsot district hospital, from where the seriously injured were referred to Jaipur for treatment. MP Ram Vilas Meena immediately took the injured to the hospital in his car.
Police busy capturing the accused
Giving information about the incident, Deputy SP Dilip Meena said that investigation into the incident is ongoing. Serious accusations have been made against Barati and he has been identified with a white i20 car. This car is registered in the name of a person named Mahendra, a resident of Sawai Madhopur. The police have formed two teams in this case and the footage from the security cameras installed at toll plazas in the area are being examined to arrest the accused. (Reporting by Mahesh Bohra)
