Arvind Kejriwal gave membership to Sumesh Shaukeen
Former Congress MLA Sumesh Shaukeen joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday in the presence of Arvind Kejriwal. After joining the party, Shaukeen expressed his commitment to work under the leadership of AAP national coordinator Arvind Kejriwal for the upliftment of rural Delhi (Dilli Dehat). During this, Shaukeen said, whatever work has been done for the development of Delhi Dehat has been done under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal. Keeping this in mind, today I am joining the AAP.
During this, Aam Aadmi Party convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal welcomed Sumesh Shaukeen to the party and called him an “outstanding leader” of Delhi Dehat. Kejriwal said, “I welcome the great leaders of Delhi Dehat leaving Congress and joining AAP. Before our government, no work was done in Delhi Dehat. Sheila Dikshit did not even know that there is agriculture in Delhi Dehat “We build schools.” , built STP in rural areas, the same work is also done in rural areas. With the participation of Somesh Shaukeen, the party will gain strength.
Let us tell you that Sumesh Shaukeen had won from Matiala Assembly constituency in 2008 as a Congress candidate. The current AAP MLA from Matiala assembly is Gulab Singh. Gulab Singh’s ticket will surely be canceled this time. Gulab Singh has been beaten several times in the area.
