Lucknow. In Mathura district, continuous action is being taken against miscreants on the orders of the SSP, but instead of demoralizing them, the action seems to be boosting their morale. In the last 24 hours there have been two shootings in the district. The police have registered a case regarding both the incidents but are yet to take any concrete action in this regard. Both shootings are related to wedding ceremonies.
Two shootings in Mathura in 24 hours have created a sensation in the district. The first incident of firing came to light in the Shergarh police station area. At the same time, the second incident came to light in the Govind Nagar police station area. In both incidents, one person died at the scene and the other was seriously injured. The wedding ceremony was held at Lots Garden on Masani Bypass Link Road of Govind Nagar Police Station area in Mathura.
Meanwhile, the bride and groom were being decorated with garlands in the garden at night, when the sound of a gunshot was heard from the parking lot outside the garden. Immediately all the wedding guests ran to the parking lot, where they saw that a young man had been shot and was lying on the ground. Seeing this shooting in the parking lot, everyone was shocked and angry. The wedding guests immediately informed the police about the incident.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police team reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The police detained the youth’s body at the spot and sent it for autopsy. The youth who died in this shooting has been identified as Rahul Goswami (35), a resident of Vikas Nagar colony located near Kusum Vatika. As soon as information about the incident was received, SP City Arvind Kumar and CO City Praveen Kumar also reached the spot.
Apart from this, another incident has come to light in the Shergarh police station area. There has also been a shooting in which one person was injured. Police registered cases in both cases and started searching for the accused.
