Fasting until death will begin on November 26

Yesterday, United Kisan Morcha (Apolitical) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha said they will intensify their agitation by fasting unto death from November 26 in support of various demands, including legal guarantee for MSP. It may be noted that under Kisan Andolan 2, some farmer organizations from Punjab were heading towards Delhi with a convoy of hundreds of farmers but were stopped within the borders of Punjab. After which farmers have been agitating at the Shambhu and Khanauri border since February.

Farmers frustrated by central government indifference

The farmers’ organization claims that despite living in adverse conditions, the central government does not pay attention to them. Today, the country’s food supplier faces problems from all sides, while governments limit themselves to voting only on politics.

Speaking to reporters, SKM leader (apolitical) Jagjit Singh Dallewal alleged that the central government is completely indifferent to the demands of farmers, which is why farmers across the country are suffering the consequences. He said the central government held talks with the farmers several times but no concrete steps were taken to meet their demands. Dallewal said he will begin a fast unto death from November 26 at the Khanauri border.
