Akalis youth protested against Sukhbir Badal’s resignation
Punjab News (Aaj Samaj), Chandigarh: There was a huge stir at the working committee meeting of Shiromani Akali Dal when the young Akali leaders started raising protest slogans against the resignation of Sukhbir Singh Badal. They raised slogans in favor of supporting Sukhbir Singh Badal and demanded that he withdraw his resignation. Let it be known that last day Sukhbir Singh Badal resigned from the post of SAD president.
After which a working committee meeting of Shiromani Akali Dal will take place today. In this, the resignation of Sukhbir Badal from the post of president was discussed. In addition, the process of electing the new president will begin. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of CEO Balwinder Singh. As soon as the meeting began, Youth Akali Dal president Sarabjit Singh Jhinjhar and other youth workers submitted a demand letter to worker president Balwinder Singh and offered to reject Sukhbir Badal’s resignation.

Paving the way for Sukhbir Singh Badal’s punishment
After the resignation of Sukhbir Badal from the post of SAD president, who was declared retired for two months, the Jathedars of Panch Takht Sahib are finding it easier to impose religious punishments. Sukhbir will no longer be able to put pressure on SGPC members and officials. The rebels appealed to Akali Singh Sahiban that Sukhbir too be punished politically. There is a possibility that any day in December, Sukhbir Badal will be summoned to Sri Akal Takht Sahib and receive religious punishment.
Now, instead of political punishment, Sukhbir can be given religious punishment like cleaning utensils, reciting and listening to recitation in Gurudwara, serving Sangat couples, doing housekeeping in Gurudwara, preparing langar for ragis and dhadis. . Sukhbir Badal was declared Tanakhiya of Sri Akal Takht Sahib on 30 August.
