The recruitment application process for the posts of SI (Sub-Inspector), Head Constable and Police Constable of Indo-Tibetan Border Police i.e. ITBP is continuing. Eligibility criteria
educational qualification
- Sub Inspector (SI Telecom): Bachelor of Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Information Technology or Computer Science or Electronics and Communications or Electronics and Instrumentation from a recognized university.
- Head Constable (Telecom): 10+2 pass with 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board or university or class 10th pass from a recognized board with a two-year industrial training institute.
- Constable (Telecom): License from a recognized board or equivalent.
age limit
- Sub-Inspector (SI Telecom): Between 20 to 25 years
- Telecommunications police chief: between 18 and 25 years old
- Constable Telecommunications: Between 18 to 23 years
How many vacancies for what position?
A total of 526 positions will be hired through this recruitment campaign. in these
- 92 vacancies (78 men and 14 women) for Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication)
- 383 vacancies for chief of police (telecommunications) (325 men and 58 women)
- 51 vacancies for agent (telecommunications) (44 men and 7 women)
Please note that of the total vacancies, ten percent are reserved for ex-servicemen (ESM). ITBP said that if the vacancies reserved for ESM candidates remain vacant due to non-availability of eligible candidates, they will be filled by non-ESM candidates.
