Hyderabad: The Telangana government has given a great gift to Warangal. The government has directed to sanction an amount of Rs 205 crore to acquire over 280 acres of land for the development of Mamnoor airport here. This order came after GMR Group, which manages the Hyderabad airport, issued an NOC for the operation of the airport.
The government ordered
As per the government order, the Airports Authority of India had told the state government in July 2022 that it was ready to develop the Warangal airport for A-320 type aircraft under ‘Instrument Flight Rules’ operations. A “Master Plan” has been prepared for the operation of the A-320 aircraft, for which an additional land of 253 acres is required from the Government of Telangana free of cost and free of all encumbrances.
