NK Sharma is very close to Sukhbir Singh Badal

The resignation of Sukhbir Singh Badal has created disappointment among his followers. Due to this, today Shiromani Akali Dal leader Narinder Kumar Sharma (NK) announced that he is quitting the party.
Narinder Kumar Sharma is considered very close to SAD leader Sukhbir Badal. He has also been a SAD candidate from Patiala. Sharma announced today before the Working Committee meeting that he has tendered his resignation from all party posts to Sukhbir Badal today. The reason for resigning and leaving the party is that party chief Sukhbir Singh Badal has resigned from the party leadership. Therefore I have no desire to remain in this party. However, Thakur Sharma also said that if Sukhbir Singh Badal remains Akali Dal president, he will continue to work in the party as a party worker.

Uproar at meeting of the SAD Work Commission
There was a huge stir at the working committee meeting of Shiromani Akali Dal when the young Akali leaders started raising protest slogans against the resignation of Sukhbir Singh Badal. They raised slogans in favor of supporting Sukhbir Singh Badal and demanded that he withdraw his resignation. Let it be known that last day Sukhbir Singh Badal resigned from the post of SAD president.
After which a meeting of the Working Committee of Shiromani Akali Dal was held today. In this, the resignation of Sukhbir Badal from the post of president was discussed. In addition, the process of electing the new president will begin. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of CEO Balwinder Singh. As soon as the meeting began, Youth Akali Dal president Sarabjit Singh Jhinjhar and other youth workers submitted a demand letter to worker president Balwinder Singh and offered to reject Sukhbir Badal’s resignation.
