Girls trapped in massage parlor
Police have busted a prostitution racket at a unisex parlor and massage parlor located opposite Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. On Sunday, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) and Mahila Thana police acted jointly and arrested nine women and seven men from the parlour. This raid was carried out following a complaint from a bank employee. In which he had given information about the black mail.
SSP Dr Vipin Tada received a complaint that a bank employee had gone to a massage parlour. Where his video was made with a secret camera and three lakh rupees were recovered from him by blackmailing him. Apart from this, they demanded five lakh rupees more from him. The accused had threatened to make the video viral. Based on the complaint, the SSP formed a team under the leadership of CO Civil Line and issued instructions for action.
Employee and owner arrested
The police arrested the parlor operator Ahana Khan, a resident of Sardhana, Khalid (Kanshiram Colony), Surendra and Saurabh (Rohta Road), Sameer (Brahmapuri), Hayat and Shadab (Village Ajrada) and Ubaiz (Phalavada). Objectionable material and security camera images have been seized from the room. During interrogation, it was revealed that girls from Delhi and Noida were brought here and subjected to prostitution. However, in the preliminary investigation carried out so far, it has been discovered that all the people working here were local people. The owner of the salon, Saina, has fled.
It is used to collect thousands of rupees through blackmail.
Police investigation revealed that this parlor earned more than Rs 6 lakh every month. Akhilesh Gaur, police station in-charge of the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, said the desired amount was being charged from the customers at the parlour. 5000 from some and 10000 from others, from which it can be estimated that the monthly income of these people is in lakhs. Under the pretext of massage, clients are lured and charged the desired amount in the name of massage. In addition to this, huge amounts of money were also extorted from customers.

Police are also monitoring other massage parlors in Meerut city. There have been complaints of illegal activities in many spa centers located in Shastri Nagar, Abulen and Delhi Road. In these centers, cases of blackmailing people through secret cameras are also coming to light. SP City Ayush Vikram Singh said that information about a massage parlor was received and a joint team of Anti-Human Trafficking Unit and Mahila Thana Police carried out a raid. Women and men were found in undesirable conditions and a case has been initiated against them.
