After 40 minutes of ECMO treatment, a miracle happened. The heartbeat of the ‘dead’ Shubhakant started beating again. Shubhkant’s breathing returned.

After 30 hours of ECMO treatment, his heartbeat returned to normal. After 96 hours of ECMO, Shubhkant was put on a ventilator. After being on a ventilator for 2 weeks, the patient regained consciousness and opened his eyes.

Shubhakant, who has just returned after dodging death, is fine and smiling again. Such miracles or should we say cures are rarely seen throughout the country. This is the first case in Odisha and eastern part of India where something like this has been observed.
