- Matrishakti Entrepreneurship Plan: Empowered Women, Self-Reliant Society
- Under the scheme, women will be given loans of up to Rs 3 lakh.
(Jind News) Jind. The Haryana government has launched a unique scheme Matrishakti Udyamita Yojana for the empowerment of women and improvement of their economic condition. Under this scheme, loans of up to Rs 3 lakh will be provided to women in the state. So that they can start their own businesses and become self-sufficient. This scheme is managed through Haryana Mahila Vikas Nigam.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Imran Raza said that this plan is a step that will bring changes in the lives of women. She said that this year the goal has been set to provide the benefits of this plan to 40 women. This scheme is especially for those women whose annual income is less than Rs 5 lakh and who are permanent residents of Haryana. To avail the benefits of the scheme, the woman’s age must be between 18 and 60 years and she must not be a defaulter on any previous loan. Women who apply for loans will receive a seven percent interest subsidy from the government if they pay their installments on time for three years.
Under the scheme, women can get loans for various businesses. Which includes jobs like auto rickshaw, e-rickshaw, taxi, beauty salon, boutique, food stall, papad, pickle making. Apart from this, options like confectionery, tiffin, service, pottery and photostat shop are also available. Beneficiaries who wish to apply for this scheme will be required to submit Aadhar Card, Family Identity Card, Ration Card, Residential Certificate, Passport Size Photograph, Project Report and Training Certificate along with their application form.
Duplicate copies of all documents are mandatory. This plan is an important step for women to become self-reliant and further strengthen their role in society. Interested women can avail the benefits of this scheme by contacting the nearest Haryana Mahila Vikas Nigam office.
