(Fatehabad News) Fatehabad. As per the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner and President of the District Red Cross, Mandeep Kaur, and the General Secretary of the State Branch of the Indian Red Cross, Chandigarh Haryana, Dr. Mukesh Aggarwal, a Youth Red Cross (students) at district level for five days. Starting Monday, the Thakar Basti Primary School training camp is being organized under the joint auspices of the district Red Cross. 100 students and 20 counselors from 20 schools in the district participate in the camp.

District Education Officer Sangeeta Bishroi participated as the chief guest in this camp. He opened the camp by offering flowers in front of the statue of the founder of the Red Cross, Sir Jean Henry Dunot. He said that the Indian Red Cross is a humanitarian organization that advances the principles of health, service and friendship. Administering the Red Cross oath to participants, he said we must advance the message of health, service and friendship in the spirit of altruism and charity. On this occasion, the singing of the Red Cross flag was also sung by students from different schools.

Red Cross Secretary Ramji Lal explained the activities of the Red Cross and inspired the students to join the Red Cross and carry out humanitarian work in a spirit of selfless service. He said that in this five-day camp various competitions and many educational activities will be organized so that the participants become competent in all walks of life.

On this occasion, district Child Protection Department Legal Advocate Brijesh Kumar provided the students with detailed information on child rights. Tarun Gera, JRC counselor Krishna Kumar Kukkad, Anju Rani and teachers from several other schools were present at the programme.
