Japan Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, the Indian subsidiary of automobile company Honda, will soon introduce its first electric vehicle in India. Honda’s first electric scooter will be launched on November 27. The name of this scooter has not been officially announced. However, industry experts believe that it is an electric version of Honda’s popular Activa scooter. Before launching its first electric scooter in India, the company is promoting it through a big teaser.
How many kilometers will the Honda scooter travel once fully charged?
Through the teaser shown by the company, a lot of important information has been received, including the design and features of the scooter. Its reach is known from the advancement of the scooter itself. This Honda electric scooter will have 2 driving modes: standard and sport. In standard mode, this scooter will offer a range of 104 km on a single charge. That means that once fully charged, this scooter will travel 104 km in standard mode. However, in sport mode, the scooter will consume more energy, so its range may be significantly reduced.
What could be the price of the electric scooter?
The scooter’s counter will be completely digital like that of other electric scooters, which can be connected to users’ smartphones. In the previous teaser presented by the company, a glimpse of the headlight and seat of this electric scooter was shown and it is believed that after the launch it will give tough competition to its rival companies. Currently, Ola Electric, Ather, TVS, Hero and Bajaj have a major share in the Indian electric two-wheeler market. As per market estimates, the price of this scooter may range between Rs 1.00 to Rs 1.20 lakh.
