Like every year, this time too the animals and their traders from all over the country have joined the splendor of the Sonpur fair in Bihar. Cows, bulls, buffaloes and horses are bought and sold at the fair, but this year a buffalo from Haryana has caught everyone’s attention.
The name of this buffalo brought from Jind, Haryana is ‘Raja’, the price of which is said to be Rs 2 million. This buffalo is not only famous for its tall stature and strong health, but its specialty is its unique diet.
Crowd gathered to see the buffalo valued at Rs 2 million.
Sev, gram, wheat grains, milk and nutritious fodder are given to the king daily. In addition, he is given beer to drink in the morning and at night, which helps him maintain his agility.
Ramjatan Yadav, the owner of the buffalo, says Raja is a special breed of buffalo from Haryana. Crowds are gathering at the Sonpur fair to see the king, but due to the liquor ban policy in Bihar, this buffalo seems worried and lethargic. Without beer for the last four days, Raja is in a bad mood and doesn’t even properly follow his usual diet.
Buffalo can’t get beer due to prohibition
Ramjatan said that everything was fine during the trip in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, but due to non-availability of liquor in Bihar, ‘Raja”s condition is deteriorating. Despite this, Raja continues to be the center of discussion at the Sonpur fair.
