What is the air conditioning like in Uttar Pradesh?
Due to climate change and dense fog, the air has become extremely poisonous in many districts including Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut and Hapur. There is a blanket of smog everywhere. So visibility is also very low. If the AQI level, i.e. air quality index, was recorded as high as 443 in Sector 62 of Noida on Monday morning, it falls in the hazardous category. While in Loni area of Ghaziabad the ICI air pollution level was 442.
Greater Noida is also not immune to this. The AQI air level in Greater Noida today reached 375 which is in a very serious situation. Air pollution was recorded at 359 in Palvapuram, Meerut. The AQI air level in Hapur was recorded at 384. Conditions in the capital Lucknow are also very bad, where pollution has made it difficult for people to breathe. In Lucknow’s Lalbagh area, pollution has been recorded as high as 330, which is in the very bad category.
