Nalanda double murder case: A horrific case of double murder has come to light in Nalanda district of Bihar. Where first a couple was brutally murdered and then their bodies were burned inside the house. This terrible incident has caused a sensation throughout the area. The horrific incident of double murder took place in Chhabilapur police station area of Nalanda. Where unknown assailants carried out this incident in Dogi village on Sunday and Monday night. The deceased have been identified as Vijay Prasad and his wife.
Nalanda Superintendent of Police Bharat Soni told PTI in this case that preliminary investigation revealed that the couple was murdered first and then the bodies were burnt inside the house. However, the motive for the murders is still unknown. The police are investigating the matter.
Rajgir Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Sunil Kumar Singh said in connection with the case that the incident took place on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday as the villagers claimed that Vijay and his wife were in their house between 11 and 11.30 pm On Sunday night they were present at a religious meeting in the town.
SDPO Sunil Kumar Singh said blood stains were found on the floor of the room where the bodies were found. In addition, blood stains were also found on the floor of the other room. When police arrived at the scene on Monday morning, both bodies were almost burned. Some remains have been found there, which have been sent for autopsy, while the ashes may be sent for scientific examination.
SDPO Sunil said a team of forensic experts was also called to the crime scene, which is collecting scientific evidence available at the spot. The SDPO said police are questioning Vijay Prasad’s 22-year-old son, who was not present in the house at the time of the incident.
