The order said that as per the directions of the Director of Secondary Education, Haryana, after assessing the Air Quality Index (AQI) situation, all physical classes up to class 12 in Gurugram district will be held from 19 from November 2024 to November 23. , 2024 (or until then) will remain suspended.
At the same time, in Uttar Pradesh too, schools have been ordered to close to take into account air pollution. Gautam Buddha Nagar district magistrate Manish Kumar Verma has issued an order in this regard. The order issued states that due to poor air quality, physical classes will remain closed and classes will be conducted through online medium.

Apart from Gautam Buddha Nagar, schools have also been closed in Meerut, Hapur and Ghaziabad. In Meerut, schools up to grade 12 were closed and grade four was implemented. Meerut district magistrate Deepak Meena issued an order in this regard. According to the order issued, the district’s schools will remain closed until further orders.
