Hyderabad: Honesty is still alive, as demonstrated by a young man who handed over Rs 2 lakh in cash that fell on the road to the police without any greed. This incident occurred on Monday morning, when lineman Muddam Satish Yadav, working at TSSPDCL (Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited), was walking on foot and saw wads of currency notes in a sleeve lying on the road.
The incident took place in Lallaguda area of Hyderabad. As Satish Yadav was passing near the Ayyappa Swamy temple, a speeding two-wheeler passed him and a cover fell from the vehicle at a short distance. The motorist did not pay attention to him and Satish Yadav tried to alert him by shouting, but the driver fled. When Satish opened the lid, Rs 2 lakh in cash was found.
This amount was handed over to the SHO.
The honest young man immediately decided to hand over the money to the police without hesitation. He went to Lalguda police station and handed over this amount to the station house officer (SHO) and informed him about the entire incident. Satish said the cover was probably hanging from the hook of the motorist’s vehicle and could have fallen off as it broke on one side.
Didn’t you feel greedy after seeing the money?
The question was: Didn’t Satish become greedy after seeing the money? To this Satish replied, “Not even for a moment. This is someone else’s money. Maybe this money is being taken for some medical emergency, or maybe someone has used it for his daughter’s wedding. You have saved it.” for me”.
Satish Yadav’s honesty once again proved that even today there are good people in the world who do not covet the property of others. His good character is appreciated by the local police and people. Now this matter is in the hands of the police. Have the police launched an investigation to find out who the money belonged to and how it fell?
