Accident in Bharuch, Gujarat
A horrific accident occurred in Bharuch district of Gujarat on Tuesday (November 19). There was a massive collision between a car and a truck near Amod Road in Jambusar of the district. The collision between the two was so terrible that six people died, including three children, who were in the car. Four people were seriously injured. On receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot, evacuated all the people and shifted them to Vadodara for immediate treatment. The accident occurred when the vehicle collided with a truck parked on the road.
Jambusar police have started investigating the case. The police have sent the bodies of the deceased for autopsy. Jambusar police station inspector-in-charge AV Panamiya said the accident occurred on the Jambusar-Amod road near Magnad village around 11pm on Monday. The police station in charge said that the accident occurred when 10 people from Vedach village were heading towards Shuklatirtha. Furthermore, according to initial information, the accident may have occurred due to excessive speed and overtaking.
The bus had gone up the divider.
A few days ago a similar accident also occurred in Surat. A private bus had driven up the divide near Keem Overbridge in the city. According to the information, the accident occurred when the bus driver lost control of the steering. According to information received from the police, the luxury bus was heading from Surat to Saurashtra. There were no deaths in the bus accident, but passengers were seriously injured. Passengers traveling on the bus claimed that the driver was drunk and the speed of the bus was very high. In such a situation, he could not control the speed and the bus first hit an electric pole and then climbed onto the divider.
More than 20 people injured
Apart from this, one such accident had come to light in Patna. More than 20 people were injured when the jeep overturned in the city. The accident took place near Ganglasan in Sidhpur. Everyone was returning from the Katyok fair. According to the information, the accident occurred when the driver of the jeep lost control of the steering wheel and the jeep collided with the divider and overturned.
