A traffic accident occurred on Tuesday morning due to dense fog in the Ecotech 1 police station area on the Eastern Peripheral Highway of Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. In this accident, two trucks and a bus collided, in which around a dozen and a half people were injured. Following information, the police reached the spot with the help of an ambulance and admitted all the injured to nearby hospitals where they are receiving treatment.
Actually, due to the continuous increase in pollution and fog in Delhi NCR, visibility has reduced a lot. In the early hours of Tuesday, an accident occurred on the Eastern Peripheral Highway on the Kasna-Faridabad side due to poor visibility. About 19 people have been injured in this accident.
Anuj, in-charge of Ecotech 1 police station, said two trucks and a bus met with an accident on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway due to fog. First the truck collided with a truck and then the bus came from behind and collided with the truck. There were passengers on the bus who were also injured in the accident. Following the information, the police arrived at the scene and took everyone to the hospital with the help of an ambulance.
Police station in-charge Anuj Kumar said all the injured have been admitted to JIMS Hospital in Greater Noida for treatment. In this accident, 19 people were injured, of which four suffered minor injuries. Of those who were discharged after first aid, 15 people are receiving treatment in hospital. The vehicles involved in the accident have been moved to a safe place on the highway. The traffic system has been improved and other necessary actions are being taken.
