Chandigarh News (Aaj Samaj) Chandigarh: Today is the last day of the winter session of the Haryana Assembly. The first winter session was held over 3 days. But later the duration of the session was extended by one day. In the session that began today, CM Nayab Saini was the first to read out the condolence proposal. He then responded firmly to the opposition’s questions. Following this, Congress MLA Ashok Arora raised the issue of Punjab’s objection on the land issue regarding the new Haryana Assembly building in the House. Ashok Arora said Haryana also has right over Chandigarh. It is wrong for Punjab to raise objections.
On this, Vice President Harvindra Kalyan stopped Ashok Arora and said that this is a matter of two states. There should be no anger in the House over this. When the Speaker stopped him, Ashok Arora headed to his seat in the meeting. And before this, on the third day the job security bill was approved. At the same time, the Central Government did not approve the two bills passed in the Assembly last year. Both the bills were passed during the tenure of the previous Khattar government and sent for approval. On Monday, the government withdrew both bills.

On the last day of the assembly session, Congress MLAs Aftab Ahmed, Bharat Bhushan Batra, Geeta Bhukkal and INLD MLA Aditya Chautala moved attention motions. These will be discussed in the House today.
