Geeta Jayanti Mahotsav will be celebrated in Kaithal from December 9 to 11.
Kaithal News (Aaj Samaj) Kaithal: DC Preeti said that Geeta Jayanti Mahotsav will be celebrated in a grand and dignified manner in the district from December 9 to 11. Geeta Mahotsav will start with Havan Yagya at the Bhai Uday Singh Fort premises. For this, all officers must initiate preparations related to their respective departments. He appealed to social and religious organizations to make the program a success by providing their support in the Geeta Jayanti celebrations. DC Preeti was giving instructions to the officials after the video conference organized by Principal Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Rajesh Khullar from Chandigarh at the conference room of the local Mini Secretariat on Monday.
Programs should be theme-based.
DC Preeti said Geeta Mahotsav is our spiritual festival. To do this, prepare a framework by inviting interested officials, social service organizations and voluntary organizations. On Geeta Jayanti, various departments will set up stalls on topics related to plans and projects. He said that for the program to be successful, a committee will be formed under the chairmanship of the ADC. The cultural programs organized at the festival must have a thematic basis. Schools and universities should be included in these programs and the participation of more and more children should be ensured.
