According to the information received, the girl arrived at her maternal home on Monday after getting married. He had left the house in the morning when his lover shot him. After this, the lover walked a little away from the scene of the incident and shot himself. He died instantly. The matter is in Kohdaur police station area in Pratapgarh.
In reality, the girl was in a love affair with 24-year-old Udayraj Verma. But last week the girl married someone else and went to her in-laws’ house. When she returned to her parents’ house on Monday, her lover saw her. When the girl left for the field, her angry lover shot her. After a while, he also shot himself.
The local residents were stunned by the sound of gunshots towards the fields. When we arrived at the scene, the girl was lying soaked in blood. Some distance away, Udayraj lay dead. The incident caused commotion in the area. The police were informed immediately. The girl was sent to the hospital, from where she was referred to the medical college. But during treatment, doctors declared him dead.
Pratapgarh police found a .315 caliber pistol and two shell casings near the spot. A bicycle has also been recovered. Currently, the police have sent both bodies for autopsy. The incident is being investigated.
