At the hotel where Tawde was holding the meeting, MP Kshitij Thakur hit the leader of the Shind faction.
There is one day left for the assembly elections in Maharashtra. There are only a few hours left for voting and Bharatiya Janata Party general secretary Vinod Tawde is in trouble. Bahujan Vikas Aghadi alleged that BJP leader Vinod Tawde distributed money in Virar. Following this, there was a heated argument between Bahujan Vikas Aghadi and BJP workers at Hotel Vivant in Virar East. Even the leaders and workers of Bahujan Vikas Aghadi have beaten up some people, a video of which has now surfaced.
In the video that has emerged from Hotel Virar, Shiv Sena faction leader Shinde was beaten up by MLA and candidate Kshitij Thakur and his associates. In the video you also see some people hitting a person. The name of the person who was beaten up by Kshiti Thakur and her associates is said to be Sudesh Chaudhary and he is the leader of the Eknath Shinde group. He was also present at the meeting along with Vinod Tawde.
Actually, Sudesh Chaudhary was earlier in Bahujan Vikas Aghadi’s Thakur Company but recently joined the Shinde Shiv Sena faction. The Thakur company is also angry with this. This is said to be the reason why Kshitij Thakur himself is seen slapping Chaudhary.
What really happened?
A heated argument broke out between Bahujan Vikas Aghadi and BJP workers at Hotel Vivant in Manoripada, Virar East. The incident took place around 1:30 p.m. In this, Hitendra Thakur of Bahujan Vikas Aghadi accused Vinod Tawde of distributing the money. After this, many Bahujan Vikas Aghadi and BJP workers created a ruckus.
Bahujan Vikas Aghadi alleged that Vinod Tawde, along with local BJP candidate Rajan Naik and some officials had brought Rs 5 million to distribute among voters. Hitendra Thakur’s son Kshitij Thakur and his workers raided the Vivant hotel where Vinod Tawde was staying.
Vinod Tawde was surrounded by Bahujan Vikas Aghadi workers. It is alleged that he also got some money at the hotel. During this time there was a discussion between the workers and leaders of both parties and then the matter reached the point of fighting.
Money entry in the diary
After this, very dramatic events happened. After the dispute, Vinod Tawde left the room. After this, some diaries were found in a bag there. Some of the diaries found in the hotel room also contain money entries. Thakur claimed that more than Rs 5 million was distributed at the hotel.
Tawde said: The Electoral Commission should investigate the allegations.
On the other hand, Tawde has denied taking the money to the hotel. He said that I had gone there to hold a meeting with the workers about the elections. So that they can explain to you about the voting process. Meanwhile, Bahujan Vikas Aghadi workers reached there and started creating ruckus. As for the allegation of distribution of money, the Election Commission should investigate it. The hotel also has CCTV cameras, all should be checked.
