Fog continues to affect train operations. Many trains were late Tuesday due to low visibility. A huge impact is being seen on trains coming and going from Delhi. Due to heavy pollution in Delhi, visibility is low. Passengers are continuously complaining on social media platforms about train delays. Many trains have been delayed for a few days.
Delhi AQI exceeds 500
At 7 am on Tuesday, the air quality index (AQI) was recorded above 500 in many areas of Delhi. Delhi’s average AQI was recorded at 494, which is the highest this season. This means that the capital experienced the worst wind of the season today. Due to fog, the speed of trains decreases, due to which trains are late. Many trains arrive seven to eight hours late.

Schools closed in Delhi
In view of the increasing pollution in Delhi, as per the order of the Supreme Court, all schools have been closed and online classes have been started. However, students in grades 10 and 12 are allowed to go to school, and masks will be provided to them. Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai said the Delhi government is taking all necessary measures.
