A case of gang rape of a minor has come to light in Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh. The victim alleges that two boys called her under the pretext of a job and then took her hostage and gang-raped her. Not only this, the accused also beat and threatened the girl. Following the complaint from the minor’s brother, the police registered the case and launched an investigation.
The victim’s brother told the police that on the afternoon of November 15, the accused called his 13-year-old sister in Karari Kasba to ask her for a job. There, two young men locked her in a room and raped her throughout the night. The next morning, the accused took him to Manjhanpur, threatened him and also beat him. The defendants said that if they told anyone about this, they would kill them.

The minor arrived home and narrated his terrible experience to his family. After this, a complaint was filed at the local police station. The police registered a case under the POCSO Act and serious sections based on the brother’s complaint and started an investigation.

Regarding this matter, DSP Kaushambi Abhishek Singh said that a youth from West Sharira police station area lodged a complaint that his younger sister was gang-raped by two youths. Following the complaint, a case was immediately registered under serious sections. This matter is being seriously investigated and further action will be taken accordingly.
