(Ambala News) Ambala. The Legal Literacy Cell of Gandhi Memorial National College, Ambala Cantonment, today successfully organized an outreach conference on NALSA (Legal Services for Children with Disabilities) Programme, 2021, on the college premises. This program was carried out under the able guidance of College Principal Dr. Rohit Dutt and Coordinator Dr. Surendra Kumar. 50 students participated in this conference and got useful information related to legal services. The program was ably conducted by Prof. Jasmita Handa and Prof. Ritika, as the technical expert, played an important role in facilitating the presentation and interactive elements.
In this session, students learned about the legal rights and services available for children with disabilities under the NALSA scheme. At the conference special emphasis was placed on the important sections and practical aspects of the plan. Students described the program as a valuable educational opportunity and appreciated it because it improved their legal understanding. The Legal Literacy Cell made sure to organize similar briefings in the future.
