(Gurugram News) Gurugram. The cricket tournament began on Tuesday at MM Public Schools Sector 4 to commemorate the birthday of Lala Madumal and the 57th founding day of the school. This tournament will take place from November 19 to December 2, 2004. Cultural programs were also presented at the opening.
At the inauguration of the tournament, Punjab and Haryana High Court Justice Ravindra Jain, SC Goyal, SK Bansal, Mahendra Singal, Rajesh Mittal, school president Devesh Gupta, school secretary Manoj Gupta, principals of school Swati Khandelwal and Phoolwati Saini, coaches of all cricket. Teams, players, teachers and a large number of dignitaries were present. 40 teams participate in this 14-day tournament, of which 32 are boys and 8 are girls.
On Tuesday, the school cricket tournament began with the match between the Madumal Under 14 cricket team against the St. Paul cricket team. In which Madumal cricket team won the toss and decided to bat first. Madumal cricket team scored 159 runs for two wickets in 10 overs. The St. Paul team could only score 29 runs. Madumal cricket team got off to a good start by winning the match by 130 runs. The second match of the tournament will be played between the Madumal under-19 cricket team against the Roseland cricket team.
